Pre-Wedding Preparation

The pre-wedding preparation shots normally include candid shots; dressing, having hair and makeup done, snacking and sipping champagne and so on. It is so important to make hairdressers and makeup artists aware of what time we'll be arriving to start taking your photo's. We recommend Kelly Weaver for Bridal hair, and Amanda Mc Clennan ( Amanda's finishing touches ) for makeup, also the Powder Room in the Valley are very professional.

Make sure your bridesmaids are dressed before the photographer arrives, and that all hair and make-up people are gone. Our beautiful bride is sitting there in her dressing gown ready to be photographed.

There are usually family and bridesmaid (or groomsmen) shots too. You will therefore need to allocate time for us to take these shots.Let all family members and anyone else know before the wedding, who will be in the formal and family shots as well as when they will be required on the day.
The time you allocate will obviously depends on the size of your family and bridal party - We usually allow around a two hours after the ceremony for these shots to be photographed plus the travelling time after the wedding ceremony. We know who needs to be photographed on the day, although we do recommend you provide us with a list of VIP's.

The names of all the wedding guests and family members to be photographed in the family shoot; parents, step parents, grandparents, godparents, sisters, brothers, in-laws and out-laws.

As well as the names of the members of the wedding party; the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, pages boys....and importantly any extra photos you may want; for example one with just grandma, a godparent or a good friend.
