TRASH THE DRESS SHOOT
Yes it was amazing , Stay tuned here to see the Video, this style of photography is sweeping like wildfire in the USA, alot of brides are wanting to have more images done in their gowns like never before, with remote locations and unrestricted times to shoot, its incredible what we can achieve. Here's a few images just to give you all an idea.....

Elizabeth and Chris 19th April
Last Saturday, Liz and Chris were married at Corpus Christie church at Nundah, from the moment we arrived at the Stanford, everything was going great, Liz was so organised, The Powder room was her chosen make up and hair people, I must say she looked gorgeous, Liz's veil was around 8 feet long, with over 800 hours of careful sewing , with all the beads, her dress was incredible as well, off to meet the boys , where our nervous groom Chris was waiting,
After the ceremony , we all headed off to the Powerhouse, then onto the Government house, and then finishing up at the Marriot, once we were finished there , we moved onto the reception , Leigh video'd that day, as usual I always stay with him until the end, its a marathon day for the both of us , but we really love it, anyway guys see you when you get back to plan your album.
I can't wait , the album's going to be amazing.

YERVANT
I had to get this shot of Yervant next to my car.
Yervant , Anie and I , this is my screensaver I can't believe its him.
Every month on the first Monday a group of Brisbane's favorite photographers meet up for lunch, its all about networking in the industry , discussing Photography and Business, this lunch was extra special as we had Yervant and his wife Anie attend as our special guests, returning from Las Vegas and taking out the Grand Award as WWPI international Wedding Photographer, I can tell you it was an honor that he wanted to be with us and share his thoughts and idea's on the Business. Everyone has somebody they look up to in the business, for me it's without a doubt Yervant, Capture magazine here in Australia have voted him Australia's no#1 Photographer. Its not everyday you get to meet your idol.
Its amazing that we have Yervant here in Australia , who is based in Melbourne, the talent this man has is just breathtaking, His style of wedding photography sets the benchmark. Anyway here are a few images of the day, enjoy guys. Don't worry everyone I will have all the images on CD for you all to have at the next Lunch.

The Studio

This is our studio, lots of colour and light, we get so many couples from all over Brisbane, coming here. being located on the southside , we're only about 30 minutes from the city. I think its very homely and inviting working from home has its advantages, we can offer more flexible times to meet our couples, its a very relaxed enviroment too, but still maintaining a professional and ethical forefront.

Christie and David

Our greatest thanks goes to That's Me Photography, we saw these guys at a Wedding Expo in Toowoomba 2006. They really caught our eye, think it was their friendliness and quality that shown through their work.
As the photography and video was such a big chunk of the wedding budget we wanted to take alot of time and thought into who we would choose. That's Me were a great choice in the end we had no reservations.
Upon meeting Paula we knew we were in good company when it came to media coverage for our big day.
The big day arrived, Dave and myself were feeling the many emotions, Paula and Leigh came to us in the most polite fashion that never made us feel uncomfortable.
Their presence never in any way inhibited us. If anything it was the coments they made that made us feel more and more relaxed with the process. We must admit we are not the photo type, I hate having a photo taken (Christie) but on the day after a bit of time I was made feel like a princess and loved every second of it.
Paula and Leigh took some amazing coverage of our ceremony. Leigh's video coverage was that amazing we can watch our ceremony word for word in our living room.
As the day was quick and emotional it is so nice to look back on our DVD and listen to every word of our ceremony.
The day we got our DVD from That's Me we raced home and put it straight on, I cried. I never knew that I could possibly relive the joy of my wedding day again, but I was able to. Dave and I are so very very thankful you That's Me for giving this to us.
On a lighter note, these guys really do help make a couple feel so more at ease with the whole enormity of a wedding day.
After the wedding ceremony we all met at the Japanese Gardens for bridal party shots, it was after 4pm, no one had lunch, and we turn up at the Gardens, heres Paula and Leigh waiting for us, with Cheeseburgers! What a kind gesture! Made the afternoon so much more relaxed.
We never realised how lucky we were till this weekend when we attended a wedding who had employed photographers who ordered them around. We were bewildered by this as we had such a positive experience from our photographers/videographers.
Honestly, were pretty frank people Dave and I, and if we had a problem with our service we would have said so, but we didnt' have to, this is why Paula and Leigh have established themselves as a down to earth and professional business.
Money was certinly not wasted in employing these guys, service was outstanding, they helped to make our day very special.
Thankyou Paula and Leigh once again for helping to make us feel like a prince and princess on our special day.

I love moments like these, its great to see the guys showing their emotions, anyway here are a few pics for them , hope you like them

Bookings
Hi everyone, at this stage we are almost fully booked for this year and half of 2009, its wonderful to get so many referrals for our 2008-2009 wedding season, at this rate I won't need to advertise anymore, thankyou to all of our bride and grooms . Just to let our new brides know, we also have a few openings still , Fridays and Sundays have been really popular in the last few years, so there a few of those still available, as well as some Saturdays.
I often get asked the question, why just specialise in Weddings , I love shooting weddings, and I feel that the team at Thats Me are at the height of our profession photographing nothing but weddings, I think it gives us the edge to offer to our couples lots of idea's , and lets face it, you need to be doing this every weekend and kn0w what your doing, shoot better than you did last week, and really mix it up and bring out the beauty and emotion in our couples, We answer so many emails everyday and they all love our images, In this business you come up against all kinds of situations, so being great with people is a must. Making your bride look the absolute best she can without it looking fake every couple is different, and thats how we like to shoot, not the generic traditional shots that you see elsewhere, the same shots over and over again, our style is natural , candid, and we make our couples look and feel like superstars. Every wedding we shoot, they are all unique, All brides are beautiful on the day, and thats what we capture with our fun like approach to the day, and we are always looking at new ways of improving our style.

Kerry and Narnea

In January, Narnea and Kerry were married here's a few pics of the day, love the theme she went with , all different coloured shoes, hers were fushia pink, every wedding is different, this one definately, they were married under the most beautiful fig tree I have ever seen, just a few friends, hope you like the pics.
Hasan and Seraya

We photographed this couple on the 15th December , they chose Hope Island resort to have their ceremony, which was 2 religions coming together, Indian and Muslim, I was so over whelmed with the welcome Leigh and I received, I love all the images of the day, when it came to designing the album it was really hard for them both to choose, anyway here are some of our favorites, Thanks again Hasan and Seraya for letting us share in your day.
Heath and Emma

Heath and Emma are from Toowoomba, The whole day was just beautiful, the best guys ever , over the past 3 years we have been getting so many referrals especially from Toowoomba, its always exciting for us to seek out new locations, the churches up there are so amazing, thanks for letting us be a part of your day, here are a few of my favorites of the day

Daniel and Emma

Daniel and Emma recently married in Toowoomba, Emma is such a classic bride, her gown was breathtaking, makeup perfect, I can't express enough the importance of good makeup for photography, as this was a early wedding, the makeup had to be good , here are a few images of the day, thanks again guys it was a memorable day.
Amanda and Matt

Mandy and Matt were married recently at St Marys at Kangaroo Point, I have to say we had the most amazing time with them all, I always love it when the bride is really into the photo's, I can't believe I do this 3 times a week its the most rewarding career ever to be around these beautiful couples who trust us with their precious memories, I just love being a wedding photographer ,
Deanne and Ben

We recently did our first Dubai bride, yes Deanne and Ben booked us straight from over seas, we were just amazed on how the day unfolded, right from the start everything was going fine, the dress was just incredible, Ben and Deanne were married at the Chapel in Paddington, and then we followed onto the city for some beautiful night shots, here are a few images of the day,
Grant and Anthia

I recently photographed Anthia and Grant in December , here are a few of my favorite images of the day, from the get go I was so looking forward to spending the day with these two , I had already photographed the grooms sister a few months back, so I was super excited to have the referral. This couple knew exactly what they wanted, from the moment we arrived everyone was organised which always makes our job much easier, I just love being a wedding photographer and capturing everything, this bride was stunning, when she arrived at the ceremony I knew that Grant would become emotional, after all the formalities we all headed off to the city, where I was allowed to let loose and really bring out the emotion and beauty of this couple, which I have, thanks guys for letting Leigh and I be part of the most memorable day of your lives.
